A gift from the heart changes the world
Your donation makes a difference!
Dear Compatriots and Friends
The Polish Catholic Mission in England and Wales has served for years not only as a spiritual centre for many Poles living in the UK, but also as a bridge connecting us with our tradition, culture and history.
Thanks to it, many of us found comfort in difficult times, a sense of belonging and a space to express our faith and national identity.
However, like many other organizations, the Polish Catholic Mission is currently facing financial challenges. The work of such an important institution requires not only spirit and passion but also the resources to continue its mission.
I appeal to all Poles and friends of Poland in England and Wales to support our Mission. Your donations, regardless of size, will help maintain churches, fund social, educational, and cultural initiatives, and continue to support the Polish community in its pursuit of spiritual development and integration into local society.
Every gesture of support is crucial. Together, we can ensure that the Polish Catholic Mission remains vibrant, serving future generations, and becoming a source of pride for all Poles in the UK.
If you are able to help, please donate any amount to the Polish Catholic Mission. Remember, together we can accomplish much, and our spiritual and cultural heritage is worth it.
Thank you for your generosity and shared concern for the future of our Mission.
Gratefully
Rector of the Polish Catholic Mission

Together we are creating a future where our faith and identity continue to shine bright,
regardless of the distance separating us from our homeland

Gift Aid information
WHAT IS THIS?
This is a government program that financially supports charities and sports clubs by refunding a portion of the tax on donations they receive. One such organization is the Polish Catholic Mission, of which the parish is a part.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone who pays UK Income Tax in the current year and has signed the appropriate declaration can participate in Gift Aid. Forms are available in the sacristy.
IS ONE DECLARATION ENOUGH?
No, if your name, address, telephone number or email address has changed, you will then need to complete a new declaration.
HOW TO MAKE SACRIFICES?
Without Gift Aid, you dropped your donations loosely into a basket at Mass. Now, you deposit the same offering in a special envelope. You write the date on the envelope, sign it, and provide the parish-assigned donation number. Envelopes are available at the church entrance.
WHAT DOES NOT COVER GIFT AID?
The offerings we make on the occasion of a requested Holy Mass, baptism, wedding, funeral; or other, smaller services performed by a priest.
HOW OFTEN CAN I DONATE GIFT AID?
At least once per tax year, i.e. from April 6 of a given year to April 5 of the following year.
What's the maximum I can donate? If you pay 20% income tax, your donation cannot be more than four times the tax amount. For example, if you pay £100 in tax from April 6th to April 5th, you can't donate more than £400 in Gift Aid envelopes.
WHEN CAN I CANCEL?
You can discontinue your Gift Aid donations at any time and return to making bulk donations. Withdrawals must be submitted in writing, without the need to provide a reason.
HOW MUCH EXACTLY DOES IT GIVE?
Exactly 25% of every donation made annually. This means the parish's income from Gift Aid contributions increases by ¼.
Example: Over the course of the year, you put a total of £200 into Gift Aid envelopes. Your tax refund from the government will be £50. Therefore, thanks to Gift Aid, the parish received £250 from you, even though you actually gave them "only" £200.
