Beatification
"The beatification of the Ulma family is an unprecedented event, because in one act of beatification, the entire family will be raised to the glory of the altar – parents Józef and Wiktoria Ulma, along with their seven children. An additional unprecedented fact is that in this act, the unborn child, who was under the mother's heart at the moment of death, will also be beatified. (...) Józef and Wiktoria Ulma were martyred because they dared to take eight people of Jewish nationality into their home during the difficult wartime times, having previously helped other Jews persecuted simply because they were of a particular nationality."
